- The system in question is this:
-
- - A500 (512k on board, 512k in trapdoor) + 1M Agnus
- - A530Turbo (8M)
-
- With that in mind,
-
- * Overall, is it worth upgrading an OCS machine to 3.1 vs buying an AGA
- machine (or waiting for whatever is around the corner)?
-
- * Is it true that it will give 256-color capability in lo-res?
-
- * Can I simply plug in a newer Denise to have 1280x400 4-color capability?
-
- * If so, which Denise would I need?
-
- * Will it work on my existing 1084S monitor?
-
- * With a true AGA chipset, what is the breakdown of screen modes and what
- monitors would be required to view them (and which ones are interlaced)?
-
- * What screen modes can the Workbench screen be put in?
-
- * Is Workbench pretty slow when the screen resolution and colors are
- maxed out?
-
- Thanks for your responses,
